Sesame Voice AI allows you to speak with an AI assistant, and optionally upload photos to interact with or describe content. We focus on
minimal data retention, privacy, and secure processing.
Voice Input & Commands
• Voice input is processed in real time to generate a response.
• We do not store your voice recordings or transcripts unless you actively save a conversation within the app.
• If you do not choose to save a voice interaction, it is discarded immediately after being processed.
Uploaded Photos
• If you choose to upload images (e.g., to discuss their content), they are temporarily stored to allow processing.
• The images may be analyzed by our AI models to extract context, objects, or text for conversation.
• Unless you manually save the photo in your app history, it is deleted immediately after processing.
• We do not use your images for training AI models, marketing, or share them with third parties.
• Saved images (if any) remain private to your account and can be deleted by you at any time.
Account & Identity Information
• If you sign up, we may collect your name, email address, or third-party login ID (e.g., Google or Apple).
• This data is used for authentication, personalization, and account support.
• We do not share or sell your personal information for marketing.
App Usage & Diagnostics
We may collect anonymous usage data such as:
• Device type and OS
• Feature usage patterns
• Error logs and performance metrics
This data helps us improve app quality and stability, and is not linked to you personally.
Cookies & Session Tokens
We use secure tokens or cookies to:
• Keep you logged in
• Store preferences

• We do not listen to or record you in the background — the microphone only activates when you open the app and speak.

5. Data Retention & Deletion
• Voice and photo data are deleted after processing unless you choose to save them.
• Account-related data is stored while your account is active and deleted within 30 days of account deletion.
• Encrypted backups may retain deleted data for up to an additional 30 days before final purge.
6. Security
We take security seriously. Your data is protected by:
• Encryption in transit (TLS/SSL) and where technically feasible, at rest
• Secure cloud services with restricted, logged access
• Internal access limited to essential personnel only
We regularly review and update our security practices to keep up with industry standards.
7. Data Location
Your data may be processed or stored in the United Kingdom, European Economic Area (EEA), or other countries with strong data protection laws.
